One of our families favorite recipes is for yummy chicken squares. It’s always a crowd pleaser and a great dish to take to parties. We took this already delicious dish and upped the yumminess factor with Heluva Good! French Onion Dip! I’ve outlined all the ingredients and steps below for you to bake this dish yourself at home.

Ingredients:

Heluva Good! French Onion Dip

3-4 cups cooked chicken (you can save time by using pulled rotisserie chicken)

1 medium white onion

1 package fresh chives (you can substitute with green onion)

1/2 brick of cream cheese

2 packages of crescent roll dough

fresh parsley

1/4 cup butter

salt and pepper to taste

1.) Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Add shredded chicken along with cream cheese and butter to a large mixing bowl then stir to combine. Tip: It helps to melt the butter and cheese beforehand so it mixes in easier.

2.) Add Onions & Chives to the bowl. Make sure to reserve some of the chives for garnish. Mix until well combined then add salt and pepper to taste.

3.) It’s time to make this recipe “Fully Loaded”! Stir in 1/2 of one container of Heluva Good! French Onion Dip. Mix until combined.

4.) Butter the bottom of a 13x9 glass baking dish then cover the bottom with one package of crescent roll doll. Spread evenly and make sure the entire bottom of the dish is covered.

5.) Top the crescent roll dough with your “Fully Loaded” chicken mixture. Add another layer of crescent roll dough to the top and sprinkle with fresh parsley flakes.

6.) Bake in preheated oven on middle rack at 425 degrees for approx. 20-25 minutes. You’ll know its done when the top of the dough is golden brown.

7.) Prepare your favorite cheese dip! We made one from scratch with taco seasoning. It is absolutely delicious and pairs perfectly with the chicken squares!

8.) Cut into squares and pour a generous serving of cheese dip over each slice. Top with a large dollop of Heluva Good! French Onion Dip and garnish with remaining chives and fresh parsley.
