Who is the Young Wild Me Family (YWM Family for short) anyway and what does that name even mean? I like to think of our family as perfectly imperfect and often times our home is managed chaos at its best. But you know what? I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world!
Let’s start with the basics. Put simply, we are a fun loving family of 6. When we started our journey on social media when we had 5 year old twins and a 2 year old. As you can imagine a household with 3 kids those ages could get pretty crazy at times! We welcomed our baby girl in 2020. It’s hard to believe our oldest daughter and son are now 12, our middle son is 9 and our youngest is 3. Let me tell you, our house is still crazy! And, we can’t forget about our two adopted fur babies that complete our family!
When we started our social media journey it was with the creation of our YouTube channel Young Wild Me! We chose that name because we wanted to create children’s/family content and we felt it best described our 3 kids. It’s pretty obvious what Young means in Young Wild Me, it stands for the fact that our children are young. Wild describes their care free nature and really just being kids exploring in general. I think even the best behaved kids can be a little wild at times right?! The last part of our name, Me, encourages kids to be themselves. Children shouldn’t be pressured by their peers to act a certain way or look a certain way they need to let their own personalities shine through. Really its all about individually and loving who you are.
Over the years our content has evolved and rather than just reviewing toys we are creating more family lifestyle content. This has always been a passion of mine and this blog is another great outlet to share that with you all. Thanks for joining us, I am so happy that you are here.
