Gathering Your Ingredients/supplies

Before you begin, make sure you have all the ingredients on hand:

• Crescent roll dough

• Marinara sauce

• Mozzarella cheese

• Pepperoni (or your favorite protein)

• Muffin tin

Mini cookie cutters (optional, for fun shapes)

Preparing the Dough

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Grease a muffin tin to prevent the pizzas from sticking. PAM works well or you could use olive oil.

3. Open your crescent roll dough and carefully cut it into 12 equal-sized strips, resembling biscuit dough.

4. Press each strip of dough down into the greased muffin tin, forming mini pizza crusts.

Adding the Toppings

1. Spoon a dollop of marinara sauce onto each crescent roll crust, spreading it evenly.

2. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce, covering it generously. Feel free to substitute mozzarella with your favorite cheese. Sometimes we like to sprinkle in some Parmesan too!

3. Now, it’s time to add your protein! Whether you prefer classic pepperoni or want to experiment with other toppings like cooked sausage, diced ham, or vegetables, the choice is yours. Plain ole cheese always works too. For a fun twist, use mini cookie cutters to create shapes out of the pepperoni slices. I wanted these to look like Mickey Mouse, can you tell we love Disney?! We actually used a bear head shaped cookie cutter, but I think it turned out pretty close! The possibilities are truly endless, the mini cookie cutter set we used is really such a great addition to have on hand for baking. These are constantly in use at our house.

Baking and Serving

1. Once you’ve assembled your mini pizzas, pop the muffin tin into the preheated oven.

2. Bake the pizzas for about 15 minutes or until the crescent roll crusts are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted.

3. Carefully remove the muffin tin from the oven and let the mini pizzas cool for a few minutes before serving.

4. Easily pop them out with a spoon and serve these delightful mini deep dish pizzas as a fun appetizer, snack, or even a main dish. They’re perfect for sharing with family and friends! These will definitely satisfy the pickiest of eaters!

With just a few simple ingredients and minimal prep time, you can whip up these delicious mini deep dish crescent roll pizzas in no time.
