Kid Friendly Fishbowl Punch DIY
This is the perfect kid-friendly drink to cool down with on a hot summer day! It’s a fun, simple recipe perfect for little helpers to assist!
I recently surprised my kids with this drink and they loved it! The look on their faces was priceless when I came out to serve it to them. If you’re looking for something unique and fun to try, look no further! I think this will be our go to drink for special occasions this summer!
What you need:
Fishbowl cups
candy (Swedish Fish + Nerds work perfectly)
ice
light up glow ice-cubes (optional)
decorative umbrellas
your favorite blue colored juice or soda! (We used Sunkist Berry Lemonade)
paper straws
Teddy Grahams with Lifesaver Gummy floats is a fun addition too!
1.) The Nerds are your base, kind of like the pebbles at the bottom of a real fishbowl.
2.) Top with ice. You’ll want to add a generous amount to fill the majority of the cup.
3.) Pour in your favorite blue juice or soda.
4.) Top with your Swedish Fish candy. Over time, it will sink towards the bottom of the bowl but they are such a fun addition!
5.) These light up ice cubes are so fun to add, especially if you are serving at night or even indoors. If you’re enjoying outside on a sunny day the effect won’t be nearly as noticeable.
6.) Time to enjoy! Have some cute bear cookies on the side or drop them right into your fishbowl drink! Now’s the time to add your decorative umbrella and straws so you can enjoy!
This recipe is so easy to recreate and literally takes just minutes! You can experiment with different candies and juices to change up the flavor. I love how fun and colorful this is! Since I made this my kids keep asking when we can have it again!
